About our Farm
Located in Lebanon County, PA Our farm has been in our family for years. My Great Grandpa bought this farm in 1951, in 1956 My Grandparents moved to this farm when they married. In 1989 my parents moved to this farm when they married. My 6 siblings and I are the 4th generation of Patches to live on this farm. Farming & watching things grow is in my blood. One set of Great Grandparents Maternal & Paternal & my Maternal & Paternal Grandparents were both farmers. As a child I remember flowers around our home and my Grandma's home, and my Maternal Great Grandparents grew Strawberries and Gladiolus to sell. In June of 2009 our family opened Patches Family Creamery on our dairy farm selling our milk & Homemade ice cream & giving us an on farm spot to sell our flowers. That year my sisters and I each received Gladioli bulbs for Christmas which we sold in the creamery. We also made little bouquets in Crystal Light drink canisters to sell. My parents have now graciously given me a portion of land to grow the "Patches Posies" business on. Today most of our flowers are sold at Patches Family Creamery, through special orders, Laudermilch's Meats or at Lebanon Produce Auction. There is nothing like the gift of flowers and the smiles they bring to many faces.
